About CCEP

The Connecticut Center for Effective Practice (CCEP), a division of CHDI, focuses on improving mental health care for children across Connecticut. CCEP collaborates with state agencies and academic institutions to improve the effectiveness of treatment provided to all children with serious and complex emotional, behavioral, and addictive disorders.

CCEP’s vision and mission.
The vision of CCEP is that every child in Connecticut with serious and complex emotional, behavioral and addictive disorders will have access to the best available effective practices in child mental health and juvenile justice. The overall mission of CCEP is to develop, train, disseminate, evaluate, and expand effective models of practice in mental health in the behavioral health and juvenile justice systems.
