Brief Videos on Teaching Strategies

The Center for Early Childhood Education at Eastern Connecticut State University just released five new videos in the Teaching Strategies series, each of which focus on a specific strategy that an early childhood teacher or provider can use to meet an objective. The topics of the new videos are: initiating activities, lowering your voice, gaining children’s attention, creating rules for the playground, and lining up on a number line. The videos are brief, and aim to give viewers ideas for implementing new strategies when working with children.
