Music Therapy Can Reduce Depression in Children and Adolescents

An article from Science Daily details how researchers at Bournemouth University and Queen’s University Belfast found that music therapy can reduce depression in children and adolescents. Children with behavioral and emotional problems were the subjects of the study, and found that those that received music therapy had increased self-esteem and reduced depression, compared with the children who received treatment that didn’t include music therapy.
